Hello,

I successfully installed your extension (component + plugin) on Joomla 1.7, but cannot see it on the backend. When I click 'Jifile', I get a blank screen (http://localhost/Joomla/administrator/index.php?option=com_jifile)

Thanks for your help

Hi Trivix,
have you tried to enable Error Reporting?
To access the page, go to Site > Global Configuration -> Server settings section
Change Error Reporting to Maximum.

Now browse to JiFile page, this time you will see the PHP output of any errors, notices or warnings. Note the file, line number and type of error described and write me.

thank you

JiFile requires the php-xml package to be install in the server OS.

Ask your host to enable it or, if you can, look at PHP manual how to enable it:
