Hi, i have the same problem.

I try all the things mentioned, and when i try to execute the pdftotext with the Test01.pdf, i get this:

# ./libraries/ifile/adapter/helpers/binaries/linux/pdftotext images/documents/Test01.pdf
Violación de segmento


in other server i get this:
# ./pdftotext ../../../../../../images/documents/Test01.pdf
-bash: ./pdftotext: No existe el fichero ó directorio

EDIT

I solve the problem instaling pdftotext in my server and using the /usr/bin/pdftotext in the place of the one in the jifile

What i tried to explain is that I was having the same problem to indexation the pdf, I always get the response of empty body, i tried all the things commented before, but i couldn't resolve the problem.

When i tried to execute in console the pdftotext that come with the jifile in /libraries/ifile/adapter/helpers/binaries/linux/ i saw strange things, then i installed the pdftotext by installing xpdf-utils in my linux server, and then i get this file in my server /usr/bin/pdftotext, i put this file in /libraries/ifile/adapter/helpers/binaries/linux/ replacing the one inside

and then the problem was resolved.

Hi,

I too have error: 'empty body' when indexing pdf. Other files worked good. File Attached.
This attachment is hidden for guests. Please log in or register to see it.
