Hi,

first of all thanks for the component. Everything works great till I try to index the 201th pdf. After the 200th pdf I can't index anymore. I tried it with diffrent options (memorylimit, server bit) and pdf's but nothing worked. So I delete all indexed files to look if it happen again and to look if one of the PDF's was the problem. So I indexed other pdf's and again I get an "unknown error" this time after the 100th PDF.

Is there a limit for indexing files? When yes what can I do against it?
The filesizes shouldn't be the problem only a few pdf's are bigger than 200 KB.

Hello,
JiFile has no limit on the number of files to be indexed, we have indexed 32000 files for a project.
There is only one restriction on the size of the index (the index folder) can not be greater than 2GB.

Have you verified that you have a limit on the creation of files on your server (for example, some servers do not exceed the size of a file to a certain limit for safety) this could cause problems since Zend tries to index (and thus save a file), but the server does not allow him to do it because the file has exceeded the size limit.

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly.
Did you mean the "index path" of the options when you say that the "index folder" can not be bigger than 2 GB? When yes it is only 2,4 MB big.

I don't think that I have a filesize limit on the server, but is there a possibility to test it to make sure?

I tried the link and I get an empty administration page. Was my link correct: damid.de/administrator/index.php?option=...presse/pm/110207.pdf

Hi,

the website is online so I couldn't check it before. So with the link I get an Internal Server Error 500 "The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.".

With enable errors to the "maximum" I get the "Notice: Undefined variable: fileincache in /homepages/36/d71355154/htdocs/damid-de/administrator/components/com_jifile/views/filesystem/view.html.php on line 146" in the filesystem of JiFile.

That's all I can find. The rest ist not suspicious.
