Hello,
If you use Edocman you may patch it using the package here : joomdonation.com/index.php?option=com_ku...ew&catid=74&id=15038 The content of document will be indexed while creating a new document. No need to run the indexing tool from jifile, because if you use finder search to index, it will do the same job. In this case you also need the plugin for edocman for finder. If you don't want to use the plugin for finder, you will need to index with Jifile, search will be ok for basic search component. There's also a plugin for Edocman to search with Finder available here : joomdonation.com/index.php?option=com_ku...id=74&id=14696#14860 Enjoy ! |

Thanks for your reply, crony.
Anyone else interested with this kind of feature, with jdownloads ?...because I don't think to be good enough to try to code it..I'm just a beginner... @antonio from isapp.it: nothing planned with jifile to be more "integrated" with document management extensions such as jdownloads, remository, docman ?.... Thanks for your replies and support. |

Just to let you know that I've corrected some problems related to the description, metakey, state of publishing into Edocman.
So it works much better now ! Enjoy !
