Hello,
Im in the upgrading process for Joomla site from 2.5 to 3.4.

Old version use JiFile v.1.0.8 and I need upgrade it to the latest version, I can only install the new version or I need to do some special process for keeping the actual data stored in the old version?

Hi,
you need only install the new version and verify the configuration after the installation in the options:

- path of the index folder
- path of the documents

and the configuration of JiFile (Server bit, encoding etc...).

Following your instructions I install the new version and I get the error attached, after activate the plugin I get blank screen in the admin side, any ideas?

The path is not correct like in the message because Im in localhost, but the extension shoe me blank screen when I try to access it in the admin side.

Hi,
you can try to uninstall from "Uninstall Panel of Joomla" the "JiFile Package" (not unistall the plugin or component, but the package, this uninstall all) and reinstall the JiFile 2.3.
