Hi Giampaolo,
Glad I solved the problem myself. I have a second website for testing purposes and by comparing I noticed the following. In the Extension manager there were 3 items: The Component, the Package (including the Component and the Plugin)and the Plugin. So my assumption is that this duplication caused the problem, probably arranged by the upgrade to 1.0.7. I deleted JiFile completely and reinstalled it as a Package. Now I see in the Extension manager no longer the Package, only the Component and the Plugin. In the Configuration I had to select as Analyzer type Utf8 and the problem was solved. Thanks for your contribution. You may close the Topic. bestcons |

I also have problems configuring to index. I get an Empty Body error everytime. Can you help me configure to recognize the documents?
I have attached a sample file for you to test. Mike Wheeler This attachment is hidden for guests. Please log in or register to see it. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. |

We tried your file and works correctly. You can try it yourself here: www.isapp.it/it/document2text.html
Try changing the encoding in the configuration of JiFile. If that's not the problem may be the server bit configuration (32 or 64), otherwise the library pdftotext which is not compatible with your server and then you should request it at your hosting. Let us know |
