Hi Antonio,

Many thanks for your answer. After trying with the addition for line 83 I get the following when I start the search:
a blank page with message bool(true) sozialgericht. "sozialgericht" is the search string.
When I add both the additions for line 83 and 77 I get: bool(false)

Try to change, manually, the root application, in the file libraries\ifile\config\IFileConfig.xml

You can copy from the configuration of jifile, see image:

Hi Antonio,

I changed all appearances, altogether 3, of the ... between "root-application" to the path shown in the Config area.
Still nothing. My browser´s address bar shows this when I definitely confine the search results with JiFile´s search plugin: (examplewebsite.com)/index.php/de/component/search/?searchword=sozialgericht&ordering=newest&searchphrase=all&areas[0]=jifile

I had of course reverted the jifile.php to its original version, i. e., without the addition in line 83 prior to executing the search.

I just wonder why this topic is marked as "solved". I do not see any solution here in this thread. Could you please direct me to the solution?
On my own site JiFile search still does not find anything.
