Hi

This is a fantastic component and I appreciate you making it available.

Although many of the PDFs on my site (over 800) are getting indexed now, since adding the encoding option, not all documents are.

Presumably this has to do with some documents being encoded differently. One issue is that a lot of the text doesn't contain correct punctuation which makes searching very difficult.

What is the correct way to encode a PDF? I've looked for some methods but cannot find anything I can understand. Presumably, as many of the PDFs are in German, it would make sense to do everything with utf-8?

Thanks for some hints and tips.

Regards
David
