Hello
Search is working only exact keyword means when i search whole keyword which i entered then search result is comes but when i search partial keyword then result is not comes.
Example: Suppose i entered keyword as "test keyword" when i index file. Then when i searched "test keyword" then that result was comes in search result. But when i was searching as "test" or "keyword" then that result is not coming in search result.
So please help me. Tell me how can i get search result when i use partial keyword which i entered.

Hello
In back end/administrator i index an file & entered keyword "james robinson keyword test"(see attachment file).
Now front end when i searched with keyword "james" or "robinson" or "keyword" or "test" then it shows no files found.

please see the attcahment files.

Hi,
in the Configuration Section, if you open the subsection:
"Fields (open)"

you can see the Table that define the "Indexing Type" (see image).

Tha field "keywords" is configured, to default, how "keiword" indexing type.
This type, 'Stored' the content (for display), and indexes all the phrase, but not Tokenize the content.
When the fields is not tokenized, the search not work for single words present in the phrase, but for all.

You can change the default configuration, and selected another indexing type, for exemple:
"Text"

Remember that this change, have only affects on the new documents, and not works for the documents already indexed.

search functionality is not working properly.Here is details of files.

File Name: 305 43 - 4-4-2 FORMATION.doc
Title: 305 44 - 4-4-2 DIAGRAM.doc
Keywords: Technical Coaching Players Development Training Tactics
Content: 4-4-2 Diagram Technical 305 44 Copyright © 2003, Rush Soccer 2 GK 3 4 5 11 7 6 8 9 10

and search the term: 4-4-2 you get no results.
search the term: Diagram or Technical, you will find in result.

It seems the numbers or something are not getting results. 4-4-2 is in the title, name of file and content but it doesn't find it.

The problem is that JiFile did not tokenize the words included in the "search" and not know the 4-4-2.
If you write 4 4 2 the search, works correctly.
