Hi,

I trying to index about 1000 pdf documents which are currently published using the extension JDownloads. When I try to point JiFile to that directory, I get te message:

The filesystem path to be indexed must be under the root appliction: ../

1. Is there a way to point JiFile to that directory?
2. How can I change the filesystem path, because the option to edit it disappeared.

To change the filesystem path you need to click on the Preferences icon in the upper right corner:

I have the same problem.
Where do I find the JiFile-preferences in a Jooma 3-installation?

Hi,
you can configure JiFile in the "Configuration" section, and define some information (Index Path, Document Folder) on the "Option" section.

The filesystem path to be indexed must be under the root appliction: /var/www/html/Joomla66/
