Hi
I have configured as much as I think is correct, the files index and I find them in the search in the backend but the frontend finds no results.
I have attached my configuration file.
I'd appreciate the help.

Hi,
try to change the root application, in the file:
libraries\ifile\config\IFileConfig.xml

insert in the tag existing:
<root-application>../</root-application>

new Path:
<root-application>absolutePathRootApplication</root-application>

Where "absolutePathRootApplication" is the Absolute path of Joomla! root in the server, (see root-application in the JiFile configuration) for exemple:

/usr/var/html/www/myjoomla/

I have followed the guide, set the root-application as <root-application>C:\wamp\www\somejoomla\</root-application> but still dont get any hits in search though files are correctly indexed. Any other pointers to fix this? thanks

Hi,
try in the Control panel of Jooma to setting the level error to MAX.
Verify if exist error on the search script jifile.php.

I am having the same problem, in the backend, everything is perfectly indexed but no results in the frontent, whatever I do (I followed all previous tipps and recommendations, disbling smat search etc. etc.)
I also checked the field types and it should be ok...
